we found tiffany wilson, she was finding folks that were in a shelter and also some folks sending us some pictures like this. look at this. these are embers from fires. look how rapidly they were getting thrown up into the air. winds are gusting at 45 miles per hour at times in the north bay and these embers have to land somewhere and unfortunately that could have marked new fires. look at the trees using the 7now. they are incredibly fast in their advancement. one wind gust in santa rosa, 68 miles an hour. when the winds get bigger, they create their own winds, even bigger than mother nature. so the conditions were so perfect late last night that was it was conducive for these fires to pred quispread quickly. we had reports of shelter opening immediately. some residents only had a matter of minutes to get out of their house because the fires were advancing so close to them. here could you see some folks were getting woken up, they were taken to the shelters that were quickly opened in the north bay to help shelter these people that just had their life essentially turned upside down
