tried to catch a glimpse of the tiger that took a bite out of jacqueline eide. (brandon scott/reporter) it all happened here late halloween night at the cat complex, where according to zoo officials, eide snuck in after zoo hours and tried to pet an 18 year-old malayan tiger named mai. the tiger bit eide, leaving her with serious injuries on her left hand. sources tell wowt 6 news her injuries are so severe she's at risk of losing part of her fingers. (friend) "she handled it really well. i mean, she didn't call an ambulance. she had a friend drive her to the hospital." we spoke by phone to one of jacqueline eide's close friends, who asked us not to share her name and to blur her out of this photo. her friend says eide loves animals and posts on eide's facebook page show her kissing a pit bull and wrapping a snake around her neck. but eide's friend had no idea she planned on sneaking into the zoo to pet a tiger. (friend) "the first thing i thought was, honestly, why, why did she do that? because even though she loves animals...it's not like, at least from what i
