also .5" in oakland and about .10" at tilden park in contra costa county. right now it's a lot of low- level moisture over the mount hamilton area but look at the bay bridge. this is heavy drizzle all associated with the deepening marine layer and it's causing some visibility issues this morning so we'll keep you posted on possible airport delays. we are in the 50s across the board. winds under 10 miles per hour. will be rotating southwest 10 to 20 later today and we'll again have below average temperatures with an isolated scattered shower and the heavy drizzle from the marine layer. those showers are all associated with the core of an area of low pressure right there. due west of san francisco. this is the wraparound moisture circulating counterclockwise around that core. that's why a lot of these showers are impacting the eastern portion of our bay area working its way throughout the back door. until this low ejects to the east, which will happen after friday, we'll begin to dry out. high pressure takes command. we see more seasonal temperatures inland.

it's ranged from .06" in san francisco to about .13" now in tilden park in contra costa county.ratures into the 50s and 60s. the winds are under 10 miles per hour. our numbers checking in below average. boy, it's been like every, single day since the fifth of may. we'll keep that chance of rain in the forecast through friday. what's going on is a couple of different things. a deep marine layer about 3,000 feet deep producing heavy drizzle around the coast into the bay. then you have that right there. upper level area of low pressure. it's rotating as far as the precipitation is concerned counterclockwise lifting up to the sierra and entering our back door and we got light rain showers in the eastern portion of the bay area. so when this area of low pressure finally kicks out east, high pressure will build in and when that happens, we'll have sunnier drier conditions and a little bit more moderate temperatures and that will occur beginning on saturday. until then, dry skies over the central valley but we have those thunderstorms in the high sierra. 62 degrees and starting to clea
