change a fact? >> mr. harris? >> no. >> miss grant? >> no. >> mr. brandon? >> no. >> mr. tillis? >> no. >> well, the climate issue is becoming a point of discussion in political races nationwide. in fact over the weekend two virginia senate candidates debated the issue. democratic senator mark warner asked republican candidate gillespie about his views on global warming and whether he sided with a majority of congress who remain skeptical of the science. gillespie said i believe there is ample evidence that contributes to climate change but i'm not entirely dismissive of those who have a different point of view. what? this is not a matter of points of view. republicans need to realize there are scientific facts out there, climate change is real. our environment is changing. joining me now on a rapid response panel, jane cleb, executive director of bold nebraska and former democratic party communications director, great to have both of you with us. let me ask you, how can the rest of the world be so wrong on this if we're number one? >> look, the reality is -- we're going to start

changing. a new south is rising with new demographics and these extremists like tillis, berger, and mcquarry areaid of that. we're going to continue to push forward. we have 50 young people in the street registering voters right now. we're going to fight in the courts, in the legislative halls, in the streets, and we're surely going to fight at the ballot box. >> reverend barber is fired up and ready to go. are these laws stirring up voters to action in other places where this is happening and trying to take away a person's right to vote, a strong way of motivating -- this is sort of a leading question. >> you are absolutely right. a great irony of voter i.d. and voter suppression efforts is they might be the greatest motivator ever to minority voting. we saw it in 2012 in places like ohio where the efforts to roll back early voting, etcetera, really spurred african-americans into the vote. we saw it in florida where cutting back early vote made people feel i'm not voting for the president. i'm voting for me. you cannot stop me from doing thchlt ironically in places like georgia and north caroli
