tim pawlenty is now backing mit romney. >> now the nation's largest bank many major announcements thatwas not good news bank of america said it will lay off 30,000 jobs and that is on top of an earlier announcement of other cuts. teresa estacio shows us what it means for customers and shareholders. >> the job cuts represent 10 percent of the company's entire work force. most of the jobs the company announced will be in the consumer business sector. the company says the cuts will be a mixed. this spring the company announced that it will reduce 600 up to 750 branches. all this comes as the country's biggest bank struggles to deal with enormous stock losses. since the beginning of the year, they have lost 40 percent of the stock price and pay that $12.7 billion to settle claims from investors for faulty mortgages. referred to by many as the most bloated bank in the industry banking analysts question whether the steps will be enough to pull the bank back into prosperity. the call that action is part of a bigger plan to make it more focused, more lean and more efficient providing all of it
