host: tim phillips, president for americans for prosperity. thank you for being with us on "newsmakers." we continue the conversation with maggie and bill. bill, let me begin with you on daca and the immigration debate. we're reaching a deadline this week on funding the government and, of course, where this goes will determine what happens with the spending plan. what did you learn today and where is this heading on capitol hill? bill: well, i thought it was very interesting that tim phillips said they want daca split off from the rest of the of immigration proposal which is almost a nonstarter with the administration. hey see this as a package. if you give up on daca, if you put out the 1.8 million pathway to citizenship for people that were brought to this country when they were children, you do ot have any leverage to talk about chain migration or family reunification or visa lotries. i thought that was a very interesting point of conflict between the position of the koch network. and certainly there are other groups, the u.s. chamber of co
