tim seymour, let me turn to you. it's hard for me maybe not to make the connection here, but nvidia was one of the derivative plays because some of the chips they make were used in some of the mining rigs to get things like bitcoin out there, ethereum, whatnot. this is a stock that's up, looking at my screen, 55% over the last 12 months is nvidia a crypto story still >> no. no i mean, look, it's a gaming and d data storage story the crypto has been a driver along the road this is a stock up 350% over the last couple of years, but coming into this print was below the 50 day for the first time since i think may or so. it's been a little bit heavy along with all semiconductors. yes, crypto mining has certainly been a feature for this stock. it hasn't been the feature gaming up 85%. that's the story that's a $3 billion business now and data center where they are competing in a competitive but a place where they can do it from a strength so the valuation is what matters here it's not great they've rewarded the high growth

tim seymour, it's not entirely a surprise people are reconsidering their plans at this point >> no. look how airlines traded today you almost get a sense this is something that has been well telegraphed. the investment community didn't look like what was overly optimistic by the airlines you're going to read a bunch of notes today. a couple of folks we called, hunter k, we need to see trazam cuts. >> which is. >> total revenue per available seat miles >> thank you. >> the capacity is down but the revenue they're able to get out of customers the big news is it's actually moving higher. increased costs in terms of getting back to it in terms of peak airport dynamics. they have higher fuel costs and i think this is part of the story but, again, what have the stocks done? the stocks have largely reflected some of this negativity over the last three weeks. the stocks kind of followed the bond market. the stock market told you where there was concern around delta variant. >> i love when tim uses the synonyms -- >> acronyms. >> acronyms. >> what was that >> yeah. homonyms. >> i'm joking. >

tim seymour, you buy this move >> i do buy the move and look, it'd been a painful period especially forvices names if you look at the e and ps, i stress these companies are being run differently. many of these companies in the and e and p space like an eog have 10% or better free cash flow yields, are trading at three to four times and have less than one times leverage these are companies that are actually starting to initiate buybacks, even before they get into, you know, their big capital markets programs, and i think they are being run for equity investors so i realize the market has not rewarded these names, but at 60 to $65 oil, these companies are very free cash flowgenerative. i like this bounce i think it goes further. >> yeah, brian kelly, you have to believe that the dollar's going to remain tame i mean part of the reason for the seven-day losing streak was a stronger dollar. >> assuming that a stronger dollar isn't a reflection of a stronger global economy, i would agree with that, but to tim's point, i think you do have to buy this, and you look at what the big, you know, th

e.m tim seymour, you agree with that you think there's a bounce in store for e.m. >> i love the calm nature of carter's description of the markets moving forward and it makes me feel better i do think you have a dynamic with the dollar. you look at the range with the dollar and this is a chart that could be breaking out, it also is the chart that is the upper end of a range i think you've also had a place where e.m. currencies and even some of the rates markets have made a fiscal adjustment and while they're always going to be vulnerable to a dollar move, yeah, look, i like the story. and this is a week where i think a lot of traders were tempted to pull the plug on e.m i know i was on a couple positions. and i think there is some sense of you have to change for the long run because some of these reflation trades, i absolutely believe continue and e.m. is a major beneficiary of those types of moves. even high rates, there's always a risk >> was it a calm description or was it a sanguine description is the real question? nadine, i wanted to get your thoughts on carter's comments with
