tim shipman of the sunday times has said is 0liver letwin‘s about a soft exit?pman is the kind of doyenne of west mr journalist, the author author of that extraordinary front page yesterday about the talk going on within the cabinet about potentially toppling theresa may. and the take on that thought from tim, you could be either of those. if you see a situation where there is movement within parliament around endorsing some the table and crucially, the government expresses its willingness to potentially adopt it, which up to now they have not been willing to back the withdrawal agreement, to put a dirty great big clothes peg on the nose and vote for it in the end because it is better for them than the alternative of a softer brexit so the alternative of a softer brexit so both elements of his thought could prove significant. 0r potentially neither, because we may see in this discussion that is going to ta ke see in this discussion that is going to take place on wednesday that there is a majority or anything or as we have been reflecting on the last few minutes

i think tim shipman who wrote this story felt quite vindicated this evening and has talked about then delayed and this is the end game. we don't know what happened at chequers over the weekend. we had members of the cabinet coming out and publicly saying that they were not trying to oust her, that they were not trying to get rid of her, but at the end of the day there were obviously discussions had there with the key players about what it would take for them to back that deal. we have now seen them to back that deal. we have now seen that she will pay the ultimate price with herjob. what is interesting, also, about the terms of the atmosphere in the corridor, we we re of the atmosphere in the corridor, we were all there, the whole lobby was packed into that corridor this afternoon, is that actually the speech she gave wasn't necessarily emotional stop people were desperate to hear details of her crying or her voice cracking and this is one of the things that quentin letts refers to, but what they said at the end of it is that it was the best bit she had given in her entire premiershi

tim shipman updated: "i m told the bomb is one of ours, not a luftwaffe one." as brexit preparations. back to theresa may — not sure if she's looking for donald trump's input right now. either way, she got it. i am surprised at how badly it has all gone from the standpoint ofa negotiation, but i gave the prime minister my ideas on how to negotiate it, and i think it would have been successful. she did not listen to that, and that is fine. she has got to do what she has to do, but i think it could have been negotiated in a different manner, frankly. i hate seeing everything being ripped apart right now. i do not think another vote will be possible because it will be very unfair to the people that won that say, "what do you mean we are going to take another vote?" so, that will be tough. i thought it would happen, it did happen. and both sides are very, very, they are cemented in. we should just quickly point out — and it's an issue close tojon sopel‘s heart. just to bring you one element from tim shipman, who is well respected within the lobby, theresa may hasiscussed resignation with her team this evening. james forsyth from the spectator saying the prime minister will vote to take no deal off the table tomorrow in a free vote. quite extraordinary, he says, that the government has no position on no deal. we will talk about that in a second. this was the response from the leader of the opposition jeremy corbyn. the government has been defeated again by an enormous majority and must now accept their deal, their proposal, the one the prime minister has put is clearly dead and doesn't have the support of this house. and quite clearly no deal must be taken off the table. we have said that before and we will say it again, but it does mean the house has got to come together with a proposal that could be negotiated. the labour party has put that proposal and we will put that proposal again because the dangers of what the prime minister is proposing are basically that she carries on threatening us all with the danger of no deal, the danger of that
