tim furlong, nbc 10 news. >>> yeah, we have quite a variety of weather conditions across the area.ys forget for the neighborhood weather because it does vary from neighborhood to neighborhood. many of the neighborhoods in delaware are cool in the 70s with sunshine and northern delaware and a couple spots, but rain in southern delaware. meanwhile, lehigh valley is dry, it's been sunny, mid-80s, but it's not going to necessarily stay dry. at 9:00, expect thunderstorms in the area, and drying out as we go into tomorrow morning. different forecast for different neighbors. now, as we take a look at some of the suburbs, we've had sun today. collegeville at 85 degrees. any place that got into the 80s today had some sunshine. west township at 82 degrees, but closer to philadelphia, chester heights 76 with more clouds during the day. and 82 degrees, and, again, more sunshine the further north you are, and the radar, well, it's going to be showing a lot of rain, right at the shore, this is all related to the tropical storm bonnie, but fortunately, those in philadelphia westward, bonnie made

tim garveer. >> there will be a lot of challenges presented weatherwise. the worst of the weatheris is kind of eye depiction of the marine traffic in the area, just to give you an idea, we last had the location of the flight just about in this vicinity there are numerous vessels searching, still hooking for debris, places also luggage, parts of the airport. let's go ahead and talk about the weather situation across mediterranean. this is in the eastern mediterranean and we were looking at the weather system that was potentially going to usher in maybe showers or isolated storms but now it looks like the main weather feature associated with this weather system is going to be a front that moves through area of low pressure will track north. there will be a ridge of high pressure, much more to the west. as a result there's going to be what's referred to as a tight pressure gradient. that essentially means we could see wind gusts as high as maybe 60 kilometers per hour or 40 or 50 kilometers per hour across this area. this will create a chop and maybe a heavier wave height, on the ord
