let's go right to bob turk and meteorologist tim williams, tracking it all in first warning weather. bob? >> we've seen some very heavy storms last night. some areas getting 3, 3 1/2 inches of rain. some areas a lot less. but right now, a general heavier rain moving into the region. take a look at the red light frontal boundary. generally moving across country, maryland. one little heavy hiccup near perry hall. south of the city, you see some heavy showers showers and thunderstorms moving into howard county and a.a. county. from parkton to liberty county, heavy shower activity. downpours all over the place, where you can see there's very, very bright colors. that's where we're seeing quick half-inch to 1-inch rain. there could be flash flood warnings. tim williams joins me now with a whole look at a lot of watches and warnings. >> definitely, our watch and warning map has been very, very colorful because there have been a lot coming and going. but we can break it down for you. there is a flash flood watch in effect, as well as a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 9:00 tonight
