this is times square. of course, when they drop the balled a midnight, there will be several people squeezed into these streets. they will be dealing with temperatures that should be close to 40 and windchills in the 30s. we've had a lot worse in terms of conditions when they drop the ball at mid night in the past. brisk by midnight but not bad at all. looks like a clear but chilly start to 2016. however, the coldest weather of the season may arrive here for a november 2015 went down as the warmest november on record in central park. this one is going to go down the same way. it's just a matter of the final numbers. right now averaging 51 degrees. that's over 13 degrees above normal. a wetter than normal month. the next closest warmest one was 2001. that record is going to go by easily. 44.1 was the average temperature there. also, probably going to get through this month for the first time without getting to the freezing mark. we're looking at upper 30s from poughkeepsie to danbury, newburgh as well. stil
