fox 29's dawn timmeney spoke with those who say the 57-year-old was a kind and gentlemen soul. >> kevinas a son, a brother, an uncle arc cousin a nephew a friend. >> reporter: tom cullen choking back tears as he remembers his brother kevin. 57-year-old homeless man was brutally beaten around 6:00 o'clock sunday night by teenagers. he died the next day. just a few nights after the vicious murder, a vigil right at the spot on the 4200 block of loring street in mayfair where his head was smashed repeatedly against the outside of a house. >> he was a kind person. he wouldn't have -- wouldn't have harmed anybody i guess he was an easy target. report roar cullen was one of sick children refusing to leave his beloved mayfair he was born and rage. his family expressing heart ache over their loss and thanking those in the neighborhood who tried to help cullen as he lay unconscious on the sidewalk. >> especially the woman donna who, you know, sat with him when he was dying. to know somebody was there give him compassion when he was dyi dying. >> milt be friend friended cullen and another homeless
