tina kraus joins u with more on the start of the president's five-day trip. what can you tell us about the trip? >> reporter: hey, amanda. it is a busy day for president biden who flew into london last night he is on a five day trip to europe. he took the presidential limo into the capitol building for a meeting with the prime minister before receiving a royal salute and a spot of tea this afternoon with the king in windsor. >> reporter: president biden began his first full day in london at 10 downing street, calling the u.s. and uk relationship rocksolid as he talked with the prime minister it is the sixth time that leaders have met. if the shared support for ukraine likely dominated discussions along wit the president's controversial decision to provide cluster bombs to ukraine in the war against russia. the munitions are banned by more than 100 countries including the uk. ukraine means the canisters filled with small bombs that could be dropped over a wide area. the ukrainians are running out of ammunition. >> reporter: politics gave way to pop as presiden
