fox5's tisha lewis joins us live from bethesda with more on the story tonight.h what i can tell you is that this situation and tragedy is what everyone in this bethesda neighborhood is talking about. navid sepehri was one of several teens that attended a house party in this bethesda neighborhood at this home and now we're talking about this. police tell us that this investigation is ongoing. they also tell us some new information, 93 say that they did speak with an adult female resident inside the home. they say she was very cooperative with police and police insist that she was not intoxicated. in fact, they say that she welcomed police into the home, took police around the home, took police outside the home, in fact behind the home we're told is where this party took place and they say that the woman who lives here was very, very cooperative with investigators. now at some point on saturday night, the police were called. they even spoke to navid before letting him walk home, although ultimately he never made it home. the walt whitman high school senior was rep

tisha lewis with more on that story. tisha. >> reporter: well, jim and marina we're talking about 18-year-old james mayfield who as you mentioned appeared in court just moments ago the judge calling him an extreme danger to the community and others and refusing to release him on his own recognizance sans. mayfield is accused in the fatal shooting of 17-year-old jamar resydnor. he's also accused of fatally shooting 38-year-old jermaine bowens of northeast. that shooting happening on tuesday. another shooting he's accused in of 21-year-old elijah henry. that shooting happening early wednesday morning and that's not all. police nabbed him wednesday after receiving a call of an attempted firearm. now, police say this firearm is integral to all of these cases because they say it's the same .40 caliber firearm that was used in several of these sheetings. investigators say they were able to develop evidence that ties mayfield to the homicides including that of 17-year-old sydnor. we did speak with sydnor's mother moments ago. s

live with the latest on the search for butler remains, tisha?ch to take place in stafford county along i95. pamela's butler's brother tells us dc will a take him to the search location friday. the man who plead guilty to kidnapping and killing pamela has reportedly told investigators where he disposed of her body. as part of a plea rodriguez cruise said he buried her along i95 in virginia. tells fox 5 police are now planning a search for butler's remains. butler and rodriguez cruise were in a relationship before he reportedly admitted to killing her during an argument. investigators determined the fatal attack happened in the base ment of her home. she pleaded guilty to second degree murder, and was sentenced to 12 years behind bars. butler's family has long wanted to lay their loved one to rest and give her a proper burial. in court, the judge reminded rodriguez cruz if he didn't make a good faith effort to help investigators find butler's body, he could be charged with first-degree murder. we'll continue to follow this developing story. shawn,

tisha lewis fox 5 local news. >>> montgomery county police have made two more arrests in a brutal crime. the murder of a man found decapitated and stabbed more than 100 times in wheaton regional park, it's a suspected gang related killing, there's still no word on who the victim may be. paul wagner joins us live from wheaton with the story. paul? >> reporter: hi, tony this is a stunning murder, when you read the court document, it's astonishing, the gruesome ness and how vial thi it's in this park that an informant came forward to police to say that the victim had been lured here back in the spring killed here then it was in september that this person's body was found as you mentioned tony, they still don't know who he is, we looked at this court document today and i just want to show you some of the things that were in it. it says that the gang members took part in dismembering the victim. that his heart had been excised from his chest. that there had been a predug hole in the park before the victim got here and that he had been decapitated and dismember erred. let's show you pictures
