anchor: speaking about gender-based violence, physical violence in a conflict setting, do you tnk, doense forces investigate and prosecute enough when they find out it is soldiers who have carried out these acts? >> we certainly hope ty will. documenting conflict related sexual violence is complicated to do although i have to say ukraine is doing an incredible job in real time being able to gather that evidence and the prosecutor in ukraine is gathering the evidence to hold perpetrators accountable. it's very important to do that in real time but to do that in a survivor centered way because it is traumatizing for women to have to tell the story repeatedly so there are particular ways in which the evidence can be gathered and the perpetrators have to be held accountable. anchor: if we talk about ending conflict in finding peace in the women's role, often women are absent or not adequately represented at peace negotiations. almost a quarter of a century since the u.s. resolution called for equal representation at negotiations. how can the provisions be implemented? it's been such a lon

what i tnk would be super helpful right now is to understand a bit more about what the public thinks. we've talked a lot about politics and how support for nato may wax or wane and how that relates to what might happen going forward and would love to understand a bit more from gallup's perspective and your research how that actually plays out and what that looks like. so would love to talk about public perceptions of nato in the u.s. and abroad. the factors influencing support or opposition, those two things and the potential for what that might hold for nato in future going forward based on those perceptions and shifts. let's dig in a talk about public perceptions of nato. >> yeah, absolutely. >> gallup's recent analysis with levels of global support globally. and what does that look like. >> sure, we have a slide, can't come to gallup and not get data out of it. we look at support of nato, across nato members here. on the whole, the alliance seems to be doing pretty well in the eyes of the public. over two-thirds of nato members currently approve of the alliance and that's the major
