with people with disabilities in all of our city's departments we can bring valuable perspective to city hall and into our city to i mprove our work culture for all in san francisco and communities. we are finding the task force that we reestablished that had done a lot of work roughly 10 years ago and has been restarted again since december. it's been about 6 months of our task force also called employing people with disabilities. i want to thank those from the different human resources who are working with carla johnson from the mayor's office on disabilities to advise city government. the task force has met monthly since december and includes two represents of the community and leaders of the disability community many of whom will be speaking today. in a few moments we'll also hear from the various city departments and community organizations and i want to thank donna kit key, the workforce director and the management specialist with the department of human resources. and donna and ed will provide an overview of rule 115. progress reports and department of human resources plan that they ha

we are now hearing that the press conference has been moved to city hall. taking place in about 30 minutes at 7:00 this morning. when you have any kind of police activity, a spokesman usually comes to the scene. but by them moving it to city hall and involving city leaders, this tells us by experience that this involves something very grave and serious. the scene out here in hayward continues to be very active, a very heavy police presence remains out here involving hayward police with a lot of help from chp and sheriff's officers still standing at attention here. when we got here at 4:00, we were met with officers with assault rifles drawn. they have now got a huge area blocked off boarded by lion, kiwanis, rotary and myrtle. that means for the past 3 hours about 40 families locked down. for that to go on into this far into the activity is quite unusual. now, around 3 a.m., neighbors reported hearing tires screeching sounding like someone spinning donuts in the neighborhood. an officer arrived and apparently tried to make a car stop on lion near myrtle. sh
