. >>> now for a look at the weather, todd santos has the forecast. >> you didn't have to work for it, just handed to you, that works out well. >> good flight to be on. >> flights, we could see a few issues toward the southwestern great lakes, tomorrow snow spreading through the eastern big cities. initially, you can see activity moving down through the great lakes in the form of snow fall, stay on the wide view to see some of the rain the southern piece of the system, that is going to make its way off the east coast, a coastal low will provide two to four inches around boston. i want to show this considering the snow that we're dealing with initially is along a frontal boundary as that pushes to the south will bring in cooler air and that will be noticing through a large swath of the country. at least we are dealing across the southeast, rain today, spotty rain as it works through portions of mississippi, alabama maybe a few isolated thunderstorms here and there, not a great set-up for severe weather, the northern edge of that getting a little bit of cool air, maybe a few snow flakes

. >>> now we turn to todd santos with your weather channel forecast. good morning. hopefully you don't have any flights booked to florida. >> i just got back seriously. so i'm glad we just found out about this now. want to take you to a few areas where we might see some travel issues on the roadways, some snowfall right now. kind of watching this system, it's not a big time snow producer across the central u.s., but it will be enough to scatter some snow showers outside the front range in california and back in through kansas, portions of southwest nebraska, tomorrow that disturbance will actually be pushing towards west virginia and southwest pennsylvania with chances for snow in there, as well. so there's a look at the set up. radar again, notice some of the showers moving in to the west coast. that's one of the heavy areas again as far as the bay area of california, a better chance of showers that will shift to the south dourg the uring the day. this white is actually coming down in the form of snowfall, even a few patches in through north texas. traveling today

we turn to meteorologist todd santos. he has your weather channel forecast. good morning to you. >> good morning. that sounds fun. >> we just did macaroni necklaces. they're kicking it up a notch there. >> if they only did 700 that raises the bar for other schools. a lot of kids school wise would love to see a huge snowfall on the map, not finding that. the parents usually on the other side of the argument. the system making its way across the ohio valley, a mid and upper level system, meaning it's not a big low pressure system down at the surface so it's moving very quickly with swift winds aloft allowing the system to keep it in motion and despite some of the snowfall we're dealing with here, not talking big time amounts. one to three inch storm, a few areas through eastern, west virginia, northern virginia may squeak out about four inches. two to four once you get in some of those areas. also a few other areas on the maps showing a few showers including south texas. not going to be seeing that getting towards houston. want to take a look towards indy over
