we used to say that it only took the senate longer to get cranked up because they had ironed togo and everything. we thought that they -- they see us, they know who we are, we thought, but apparently they didn't. and then this whole thing about -- you don't understand the rules of the senate. someone in a gym gives you their word, then this is how it must the. i'll be, you know question mark we can't even get into our gym, so i guess we didn't know that. i don't know. it was really a bad day. the good news out of it is i think we got senator feinstein and senator boxer out of that. because women were mad all over the country. it's not a good way to get it. we also got clarence thomas out of that. not one of my favorites, anyway. well, in 1992 the press called that year the year of the woman because there were so many women elected to congress. 24 new women elected to the house. what does that feel like for you to suddenly have new -- more women in the ranks of the house. very excitingas and of course, i think that was the fallout from the whole hearings that we just talked about. with
