on thursday in the morning it will be approaching detroit and toledo. in fact i think thursday will be the warmest day of the week as temperatures shoot toward 65 perhaps. and by thursday afternoon, 4:45, some showers columbus up to pittsburgh. if this system holds together then thursday night into friday that's when we'll have a chance to get some showers around here. but nothing -- nothing terribly heavy at this time. temperatures this afternoon, we'll be around 59 at d. c. for the high. winchester 57 along with cumberland. and a couple of 60s in tappahannock and fredericksburg and even manassas and eastonment 61, maybe 62 degrees and then a chilly night tonight back in the 30s for most of us, today 59, tomorrow 60. thursday 65 and a couple of clouds late in the day. friday, chance of a shower or two with that boundary that's coming through. that will keep us in the upper 50s. this weekend don't forget clocks back saturday night. check the batteries and your smoke detectors and also the weather radios which i hope you have. sunday, skins are home, 64.
