in toledo, ohio, this rhyming sign, keep your tens of thousands marched across the country as the highbortion in decades. today the supreme court began its new term, one that's already being called momentous. all justices except for justice brett kavanaugh who has covid and participated remotely were in person today for the first time since march of 2020. the court is just a few months away from hearing arguments in a case involving mississippi's 15-week abortion ban, which is a direct challenge to the 1973 "roe v. wade" ruling. a case that could throw out abortion rights for all women in this country, wherever they live. arguments for that case begin on december the 1st. we've already seen in texas the state effectively overturning "roe" with its abortion ban that outlaws abortions at six weeks. we're still waiting to hear if a federal judge will grant the government's request and issue a preliminary injunction against that law. and that decision could come any day now. remember that the supreme court declined to intervene and it let texas effectively overturn "roe v. wade." now, ther

i rise today to honor a great american soldier, staff sergeant john eade, a native son of toledo, ohio, who our citizenry is very grateful and proud. as our nation approaches veterans day 2021 i enter into the congressional record the poignant story to honor john and their treasured colleagues for their superhuman valor, they are all heroes. john is a highly wounded vietnam veteran persevered and led a distinguished life as an architect and chief of the city of boston's inspection division. our nation must revere his lifelong valor in the face of overwhelming odds, terrible slaughter, wounds endured from the deadliest single day battle in the vietnam war. sergeant eade is held in the highest esteem by everyone who knows him. he's a trusted confidant, a faithful friend, a true patriot, and very humble purple heart recipient. he would not seek that recognition for himself but would be thinking only of his comrades. in november 1965, john was deployed to vietnam as the fire team leader in the second platoon alva company second battalion, second calvary, first cavalry division. he and his
