a shooting in tolleson earlier this morning. if you saw this on 695 trying to get off on delaney valley. here's what happened. police say that it started as an armed robbery call and officers spotted the suspect's vehicle on delaney valley road. stepped out of his car but that suspect we're told tried to hilt the officer who fired his gun before getting hit. police then caught up with the suspect we're told that suspect was arrested after a very brief foot chase and then the suspect now facing armed robbery and first degree assault charges and then in the meantime that officer was taken to shock trauma, being treated for non life-threatening injuries. and the officers is expected to be okay. >> let's look at some of the more pictures you're sending in here to us. this is bobby and snow pics. but we have jeff hager. he's standing by live to tell us how the weather is. >> we're in owings mills shopping center at owings mill boulevard and reisterstown road. driving over here at 5:00 in the morning. the roads were relatively clear a

here in tolleson we got snow. we saw linda so downtown she's got snow. ralph in westminster said he didn't think it would turn over. he said it's a heavy wet snow and it hasn't turned to light fluffy stuff yet. that's really important and let's see if i can pull this back. rather than going in locally. i want to show you what our radar is actually showing as this storm system right here off of the coast is getting organized. watch these bands. this is interesting. you can see these bands pushing up to the north. you can see this heavy stuff pushing back inland and see the cold air beginning to wrap around there. do you see the heavy bands and let's follow this one pushing it sale towards the coast. that's the cold air that will turn everything back over to snow across the area. temperatures right now really on that border from 32 in easton to 30 in baltimore. it's 20s back to the north and west. that's when we're expecting temperatures to drop. that's why if you're getting rain or freezing rain or some mixture we all go to snow at some point this morning
