most people in the state know about tom bradley -- the people, they said they would vote for bradley. then they underperformed. i think that is what people are afraid of. richard nixon -- california politics is the one that came up with this concept. the idea was that there was a silent white majority that would react negatively to all of the disruptions of the 1960s. we saw this in the 19 90s where you had the la uprising in 92. you had the o.j. simpson case in 94. then white voters came and went to the polls for prop 209 and prop 227. and then 187. the language -- to save our stage. those are the kind of electoral backlashes -- if there is any way donald trump has an entrance into this through a silent majority, it might be a negative backlash -- of the uprisings we have seen in places like ferguson, orlando, baton rouge, louisiana. minneapolis, minnesota. and baltimore, maryland. all of that disruption -- as we saw here in california, in the 90s, could drive a latent anxiety and racial resentment in the polls. >> we will see if that materializes. on the flipside, i suppose hillary
