governor tom kean here on that. unnecessary soap opera. good to have you. what do you make of that? was an issue that forced the sitting governor, it makes a very tough fund-raising. >> adelle believe it. the only covers are considered. i just was in on the process. i know he was seriously considered. he did not want to be vice president, but he did say if romney were tested he would have to seriously consider doing it. i never heard anything about the rest of it. at the story that chris has given is correct. neil: to put up this story that this was the story? >> i don't know because it makes no sense to me. my following of the story with the governor, that doesn't make any sense. i never heard that even as a rubber. this is brand new to me, and that think it was brand new to me, it probably didn't happen. neil: you don't think it was his people that put it out to try to put a nice face and not giving a number two spot. >> i don't think you have to put a nice face of chris christie. [laughter] neil: let's talk a little bit about what he says. during his keynote, just as he is ready
