. >>> i'm storm team 4 meteorologist tom kierein. light rain around the area and sun breaks out. tell you how warm it's going to get later today coming up. >>> briking news in the investigation of the germanwings flight that crashed in the french alps earlier this week. officials believe the copilot intentionally brought that plane down kills himself and 149 other people onboard. the captain left the cockpit for a short while and then could not get back in. this was all heard on the flight voice recorder no leads why the first officer would take this action. they don't believe it was an act of terror. 28 years old the copilot, from germany. a slight interruption in his training that happened about six years ago. according to lufthansa the parent company of germanwings no red flags, no reason to keep that copilot from the cockpit. protocol was followed. the captain left the cockpit for a short time and then could not get back in. in the u.s. if that happens a flight attendant goes into the cockpit so no one is there alone. lufthansa saying they have no plans to change their polici
