i was reading a tom paine biography death of a forgotten founding father and i found a parenthetical that i mentioned 1735 from the swedish botanist who went to germany for an exhibition of the seven headed hydra everybody was talking about the 701 - - seven headed hydra. it was a mob scene. he shows up and says it's a bunch of snake skins sewn together with wiesel's goals and monkey gets. and a creature with more than one head. now i'm thinking of the siamese twins.
