tom perez got booed at a unity event in maine this week by his own supporters. this comes down to also that democrats are expecting american voters to turn on the president right away. they're underestimating how patient american voter are. i was in l.a. with an uber driver. he was an iranian immigrant who kept saying he's fed up with his party being, you know, so abrasive towards president trump and not giving him a chance. he voted for hillary clinton. he said look, he just got into office. let's try to give him some options. any democrat running for local office, meaning a congressional seat, not a national presidential race, should really stay away from the celebrities. you look at his record as a candidate, it's not terrible. when it comes to his background and who he is. when you bring in the outside forces, celebrities and the fact that he doesn't even live in his district slows that democrats are still out of touch and not willing to talk to voters at the grass roots who he claimed are ready to go in winning that seat. >> we're awaiting the white house p
