tom roussey has more from the anacostia station. tom? tom: the 24-year-old victim is in stable condition and talking to detectives. he was shot on a train that pulled up over here. after the shooting happened several of them appear to have fled this way. we see the escalators in the distance. two person of interest was captured. these men have not been found. two other suspects are in custody. metro is asking for help. this is video we took when the train was still at the station. this is the first shooting to happen on a metro train in more than a decade. we are told that the victim was shot and conscious handwriting when he was taken away -- conscious and breathing when he was taken away. even though there wasn't too many passengers in metro it caused a panic as you can imagine. we talk to folks on the trains that arrived shortly after the shooting happened. they were scared by this. they say there needs to be more security. >> there is always coming
