i would like to say, i don't know tom steyer from a bar of soap but i would be happy to work with anybody to put some transparency on the dark money that comes into these elections and i know this isn't a hearing about elections and dark money, but if we want to save our democracy, i think that's the first step and i think we could really get to the bottom of a lot of this stuff that's going on as far as influence and political agenda here in washington, d.c. with that -- >> let me react...
