weather forecast with tom tasselmyer. here is something you do not see often at all in the weather department. we will show you the advertising today and the actual highs of the day. rarely do they match up like this. the actual high and low were spot on, right exactly normal for this time of year. 74 is the high at the airport. that is average. 53 is the morning low. ackley average over the past 30 years. 95 is the record high. 40 is the record low. that has been on the books for a while. it goes all the way back to 1879. 71 in parkville, 71, and 71 in columbia. on the eastern shore, temperatures are comfortable. a couple of things are happening to keep temperatures down. probably an ocean temperature close to 69 or 70 degrees. clout -- cloud coverage, keeping the temperature down a bit here in the area of low pressure developing with showers and an impressive cloud coverage in the atlantic. brushing up against the beaches on the lower eastern shore, the system looks like it will drift farther out to sea tonight. coastal
