tommie clark has the details. << on a mission to help kids in need of therapeutic care. that's what seasons center for behavioral health started with a new regional facility called autumn's center in spencer iowa. named after 3-year-old autumn elgersma who was killed by her babysitter in orange city, iowa back in 20-13. "out of that project we started to see certain types of services that we really needed to key in on and one that kept coming up over and over again is the need for respit care for which the kids we're serving and their families," for behavioral health executive director, kim scorza. as an extension of autumn's center, they're now working to create a therapeutic camp for children. they're seeking a more than half-a- million-dollar grant to purchase property in sutherland, iowa for the facility. and now, o'brien county supervisors are deciding if they want the camp in their county. "i think it's a good thing for the children and i understand the children she's talking about doing. the biggest thing is financial wise, we don't want to all of a sudden have this come back at us," said county supervisor, tom farnsworth.
