. >> this guy is a diver and guide in the island nation of tonga. and they spotted this. to see a humpback whale out there. that's part of their business. but in this case they found a humpback tangled around a bunch of line with buoys and an anchor. >> oh, no. >> thankfully, she's able to get to the surface and breathe. but listen to this. if you've never heard a whale cry, it cuts you deep. it kind of sounds like puppy cries. this is not just her. this is a mother. and there's a calf nearby. >> she's groaning too. >> yeah. the divers have spent hours doing their best trying to get close to this whale and her calf. two divers call harrison and they did their best to try and get close with knives to try and cut away some of that line. they've been dropped off ahead of the whale trying now to grab the line as the whales swim by. >> they can't call for help? >> they are the help. >> that's what i'm saying, he could grab the rope now, but he's got to be careful, man. >> wow. >> you could see the whale moving pretty quick, but the divers still attempt to grab the line. here's
