. >> now your insta-weather plus forecast with meteorologist tony pann. >> i guess we had better win the super bowl. just keep going. weather-wise, we close out the old year with an active december. remember we had all those storms coming through with the rain and snow? in december it will be just as quiet for the first couple of days of january. i do not see the big storm -- the big snowstorms for the next 10 days. the last time we had over 2 inches of snow officially at bwi, was all the way back on february 22, 2011. last time we had over 6 inches of snow was january 26 of 2011. it has been a long time since we had a direct hit from a snowstorm in maryland. we came close yesterday with a storm passing just south of us with plenty of moisture and cold air to the north. we lucked out in missing on both of those. all the moisture mist to the south, so we wound up with some quiet whether with clouds. the clouds have broken up and we have plenty of sunshine this afternoon. you will see maybe just a few high thin clouds out there. you can see how the temperatures drop off in pennsylvania
