sarah simmons. let's check in with tony perkins. it feels pretty good outside right now. >> yes, it does right now t will be a warm day. we know that. we talked about that yesterday. today, another warm one. we'll add on a few degrees to what we got yesterday. should see our highs in the low 90s for today. so there you go. it will be hotter later in the week. let's take a look at what is going on out there. we'll start with the radar image and you can see that, again, not much happening out there. nothing in the way of precipitation. if you look closely, we'll pull it out and you can see well up to the north across the great lakes there is a batch of rain up there. maybe a couple of thunderstorms as well. that is all sliding southward and, although it won't remain intact like that all day long it does bring with it the chance of some thunderstorm activity late today. i would say during the latter part of the rush hour into the evening hours but really there is only about a 10 to 20% chance of that. we'll watch that. it will also bri

sarah simmons. welcome to fox 5 morning news. let's check in with tony perkins. he has a look at our weather, our fabulous weather i should say. >> yes. not bad at all. more pleasant conditions across the region. this morning, we have some fog out there that is developing but aside from that, not a bad start to the day. we will see another pleasant day today for the most part. we'll start with the latest radar image. there was a little thunderstorm that came through earlier this morning off to the east. that has cleared out. you can see how it moved across the chesapeake bay and eastern portions of maryland. that has cleared out. as i mentioned, we do have some fog, a couple of clouds out there as well. as the day progresses, we will see lots of sunshine and we don't expect to see precipitation across the region today except for that lone shower or thunderstorm that came through a short time ago. now, let's take a look at the current conditions being reported at reagan national. that humidity is back. 87%. temperatures, 68 degrees and the winds are calm. so your
