tony, the zappos ceo. adam. >> we have mr. shay and one of the things we are talking about is the downtown project in las vegas, and most of the discussions we've had here is how people are making money in the oncoming technologies. you're talking about spending money to transform a community, and in the long run, that will help employee people and raise money. talk about the downtown project. you've invested 350 million. it's your money and other investors. why do this? >> there's a few different reasons from the business point of view, research has shown every time the size of a city doubles, productivity increases by 15%, but when companies get productivity per employee, it goes down. one of the goals is to actually help increase the innovation in productivity, not only for zappos, but all the different businesses participates in the community. >> we talked about las vegas and decided when you became ceo, roughly 90 employees at zappos, and decided to move from silicon valley over to las vegas. why did you leave for las vegas? >
