[applause] >> i want to thank tony taveras from caltrain, because again the people who work for these departments are the drivers of what we need to do in terms of paperwork, and issuing funds, and those kinds of things. so thank you to tony from district four who is here with us today. and also our private partner, google, rebecca is here with us today. they provided $3 million to get this place open sooner rather than later. [applause] >> jeff kaczynski and his team from the department of homelessness, they don't just work on trying to provide these spaces, they work every single day on the front lines, the hot team, they are out there trying to get people to help, and the support that they need to, and through our coordinated entry system, they have been able to register thousands of our homeless residents in order to get them into places like the navigation centers, and it has been a fascinating system where we are able to track people, and get them to help and the support they need without duplicating services. i want to thank you mohammed nuru with the department of public works
