i'm tony tull at the live desk tracking breaking news out of portland, oregon. last night at 12:30 our time, police were called to a hospital for a man with a gun. we're told the hospital was placed on lockdown. police were able to contain the gunman inside. they say that a shot rang out, the gunman is dead. but, again, that hospital in portland, oregon is still on lockdown as police there investigate what happened. as of right now, there are no other injuries. we'll continue to track the story. back to you. >>> it marks ten years since 100 people died in a rhode island nightclub fire. yesterday loved ones gathered for a memorial. the station nightclub burned to the ground in february 2003 when pyrotechnics during a show by great white caught material on fire. work for the memorial begins in the spring. >>> it morning, people in a small texas town are mourning the deaths of two firefighters. they are from bryan, texas. about 50 miles outside houston. they died friday night trying to put out flames inside a knights of columbus lodge when the roof suddenly collaps

tony tull is live in leesburg where the flakes are falling. tony, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, eun. they've been falling for about the last 40 minutes. we came in through dulles told road on to route 7 in leesburg. we were dealing with rain until we got to historic leesburg. that's where we started seeing the flakes falling. if you see it in the shot, panning up to the light, you can see what we're dealing with. for the last half hour. if you take a look on the untreated areas, you can see we're starting to get accumulati accumulation. we have residual left over. if you look on the pavement, not too much accumulation. as tom has been saying all morning, road temperatures a little too warm. even if you take a look out here on to leesburg pike here in historic leesburg, you can see it's -- i wouldn't say it's accumulating on the roads, but you can see it's starting to stick a little bit. we don't expect this to last for too much longer. again, as you heard, loudoun county schools are delaying. we're going to send it over to danella wi

news4's tony tull is live in the 1700 block of r street with new information. what do you have? >> reporter: at the beginning of the hour we showed you firefighters just about to make entry into the apartment building. we just did confirm with d.c. fire, ems, they do have two people dead inside. a live look at the scene, you can see a lot of firefighters, it was a two-alarm fire, about 75 firefighters came on scene to this apartment building, that was fully engulfed. it spread to the two adjacent apartment buildings as well. i want to bring in deputy chief pearson from d.c. fire/ems, what did you find out when you made into the building. >> once the firefighters got inside, they were able to determine that we had two doas, that were found in the building of origin. >> now i saw that this, we were talking earlier and there was some information that this might have been a vacant apartment building. it holds four apartments inside. you say it was partially vacant. but that two bodies were found inside, people were living in there? >> that's correct. the location wh

that's where tony tull has more.g. >> reporter: good morning ewe have an accident on the outbound lanes of the american legion bridge. if we zoom in really far, you -- the memorial bridge. if we zoom in really far, you see a car that lost control. we did come in on the other side of the memorial bridge. police have it blocked off and are diverting traffic. as we've been saying, multiple accidents on the memorial bridge. they have brought in crews in the last two minutes. they'll try to assess how they can get cars out of here. we're told there may be one injury. again, the outbound lanes of the memorial bridge are blocked, and the inbound lanes are getting by. it's making for slow traffic. we will another police officer that just showed up on the scene. he looks like he might be setting up cones in the next few minutes. if you use the memorial bridge for inbound or outbound travel, be aware that the outbound lanes are closed, and there will be severe delays coming inbound. that's the latest from the memorial bridge.
