[applause] >> this is not the moment i was looking for. this is my 10th year of teaching, so this is quite a big moment for me. this year is what i have actually changed a lot of my teaching. to be very effective, especially with those english language learners. i just want to eradicate the achievement gap, and this is giving me the inputs to proceed, but i cannot do this by myself. it has taken a lot of people to get here. my road started with a teacher. one day i hope for her to be recognized because she has inspired many teachers in this school district. you need to wait because you are the one that made this happen. [applause] i just went in to volunteer in her classroom. i wanted to be a children's writer, and here i am. i want to thank also my school community. i had a wonderful principal who gave me the freedom to make the mistakes i needed to be a teacher i am now. also, i moved to monroe elementary, which is the school my heart is in right now. now, this amazing principal who had a vision for every student to achieve. i do not kno

along with our partners, we need jones and tonya young of ccgc. you with your a lot about the partnership as time goes on. it has proven to be a wonderful, wonderful opportunity. hudson valley and silicon valley bank, our project funders. without them, none of this would have gone forward. the san francisco redevelopment agency in particular, they have worked with us over the years to get this project where it is. i would like to abolish them. i believe that fred is here. i believe that i saw sally. finally, i never had a chance to meet mrs. rogers. i will not try to be count other people's memories. i am sure that we will have plenty of time for that. but i did hear from everyone that no matter what side of the issue you were in, no one had anything but respect for her passion, commitment to the community. i hear that all the time. the second thing is something that i have heard from the family. something likely said about my grandmother, mother, and other people. her family agreed early on to share her with the community. that was how important

i know tonya decided to contact the family, but i think we can certainly do some things for the family after they have time to adjust to this, if you ever do. so not so you think i have only bad news, the good news is we did have a call oliver -- a koala birth, our first in 10 years. we did it have to check in december. i do not know if you know this, but wallace -- koala's when they are born are about that big, and they crawl up the mother's belly, a tax themselves to the tee, and stay there and get bigger until somebody notices. so when they did the check, they could feel one there. it started showing itself in january, so by the time that we did our press event, it is when there is no more room, and the baby starts coming out. we had a lot of press coverage. again, i think it is one of the things helping these to come back, that we are having a lot of action in our animal collection. and that concludes my report. commissioner buell: thank you very much. >> is there any public comment on item 6? seeing none, public comment is closed. this was discussion only. we are now on item 13, w
