i'm tori cam be. >>> san jose is taking action to fight this increase in deadly violence. new at noon, ktvu's allie rasmus joins us live with information just released by the san jose police department in the last hour. allie? >> reporter: actually, san jose police chief chris moore updated the number. he says san jose has had 37 homicides in all of this year. that's her than double the rate of last year, all of last year. so in light of all of that, police and the santa clara county d.a. had a press conference at san jose police headquarters. that press conference is still going on. at that conference, police had updates on two high-profile cases. the first, the hells angel shooting that happened -- that happened at the oakdale cemetery on saturday. police identified steven joseph ruiz as the man suspected of shooting and killing a fell local hells angel member at that funeral. police believe he and the victim got in an argument at the funeral right before that shooting happened and police say they do have a warrant for ruiz's arrest. but at this conference, police sugges
