so i was in as torreya this past november. -- astoria with.hen i took office, they had the highest unsheltered rate per ca capita in the state and virtually no capacity to the meet the need. now the county has 80 24/are 7 shelter beds, tighter coordination between housing service providers, behavioral health providers and law enforcement, and they are on track to produce 83 units of new, affordable housing. that is incredible progress and a testament to what our local leaders are accomplishing. so thank you.
