tourette's syndrome is found inone out of 263 children in the u.s. and doctors say thatnumber could be even greater. our med cat specialist kristikrueger is here with the news of a local authortrying to break the stigma. >> kristi: well, that stigma exists because a neurological disorder have such public symptoms, involuntary movementssymptoms, involuntary movements, ticks and noises and sometimes they blurt out inappropriate words. anthony ward who grew up right in plantation wants to break the stigma. he has written a book exploring the struggleses and successes of glowing up with this syndrome. anthony hopes reading about his journey will increase tolerance >> a very public disoer. very easy to spot. within you hear someone screamwithin you hear someone screaming at the top of their lungs in a restaurant it is easy to put a bulls eye on the back of the individual.a lot of how i was able to escape that stigma of being weird and off and different was to be open about it. >> reporter: anthony graduated from florida gulf coast and concentrating on his

at fuquay- varina high school after school officials learned about a student reportedly making tourette's to two other -- making threats to two other students but officials say there was no actual danger to anyone and no threat to the school. >>> to an update on the coal ash clean-up, the department of public meeting in person county last night. at least 13 families there are receiving bottled water after concerns nearby coal ash ponds contaminated the tap water. the focus on how and in what order the deq should close the ponds but that didn't stop residents from speaking out. >> you are constantly workweek about if i brush my team don't open my mouth. >> you believe that the water in the wells close to the facilities are safe? >> yes. the water in these private wells are similar to public well water across the nation. >> the department of health and human services originally sent out that letter warning certain residents to not drink the water. last week they reversed course though saying the water was safe but people remain skeptical. >>> today's a big day for college basketball fans. e
