tracey the question is why. police say this girl was shot five times at least in the arm while she was hanging out with her friends. police say this happened just after midnight on the 5900 block of springfield avenue. 16-year-old with her friend standing on the steps outside the front door of a house. that's when someone came up and started shooting. now police don't know if this particular girl was the target, but there is no doubt that the shooter was indeed aiming at this crowd. now the good news is this girl is expected to survive. police officers rushed her to hospital in time, but who did this and why. detectives have been talking with some of the witnesses here. and their are hoping that surveillance from the area might give them some clues as to who did this. for now, live at southwest detectives. matt delucia, nbc 10 news. >>> new this morning, someone opened fire on homes and cars in frankford neighborhood. police say two cars and several homes were sprayed with gunshots. no one was hurt. >>> top stor
