tracy: let's take a look at this chart. astounding. all of that is off the back of the rally of commodities prices and also the much weaker dollar, the dollar having its worst quarter since 2010. thanks largely to the statement we saw earlier this month, it and the dovish janet yellen this week. in terms of the out performers, and of that was brazil russia. if we take a look at the developed markets, take a look at what has been happening with the pound in with the japanese yen. that is addressing. the japanese yen was one of the best-performing currencies this quarter. the great british pound was one of the worst. is clear looking at the chart, not a happy camper. tracy: it is unreal. in terms of commodities, the story belonged to gold. this is the best quarterly rally for gold in 30 years. finally having a positive quarterly gain since 2014. it was really interesting to me that money slowed in. since at the fastest pace 2009. that was how much fear was in the market this quarter. the other part of the story has to do with oil bottomi

tracy? >> thank you. 4:33.let's talk more about that accident scene that jessica was talking about on route 55 in south jersey. we're on the scene of that deadly accident in vineland. katy zachry is live on scene. tell us what you know about this crash. >> tracy, it's extremely slow going around the scene. for the last 45 minutes we were caught in the backup as dozens  of other drivers are right now. we have a few still pictures from the scene. before we get to them, behind me, my photographer will zoom in. what we're focusing on right now, this vehicle you see stopped right here with the flashing lights, that is one of the two vehicles involved in this deadly crash. that is a salt truck that pulled over to the side of the road. it's a few hundred yards away from where there's another vehicle, a four-door sedan where we're told the driver of that sedan died in this crash. it happened probably about two hours ago on route 55 south near the exit for route 56. these two vehicles, we're told by state police, are t

tracie strahan is in tarrytown with more. tracie? >> darlene, lawmakers say this is gone from a rescue and recovery effort to a sal vaj effort. three men were sent into the water as a result of at that tugboat crash. one is still missing this morning. all of this happening this weekend here right near the construction site where the new tappan zee bridge is being built. three crew members were september into the water. so far, they've been able to locate the body of one man. timothy conklin of west bury. another man was plucked from the water. but he did not survive. governor cuomo gave a news conference giving an update on the situation speaking specifically about radio transmissions that appear to indicate that this was likely an accident. >> there are reports that there are radio transmissions from the tug on the right saying we are too close, we have to move left but they couldn't move in time. >> crews were near an area they believe the body of harry hernandez of staten island may have been. they had to call off that search. in

tracie strahan is in mariner harbor where it happened. tracie, a shocking turn of events. >> reporter: a lot of witnesses are saying the same this nearly 11 hours later and you can see over my shoulder, there's a significant police presence on roxbury street. they're blocking off access to the crime scene as the search continues for a shooter at this hour. we've learned the identity of the mother and son killed here. they are 47-year-old adelle rivera. she was shot once in the head. her son, 21-year-old anthony rivera was shot three times in the head. how both were rushed to richmond university medical center where they were pronounced dead. a third victim, a 22-year-old neighbor is in critical but stable condition according to police at this hour. he's recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg. witnesses report hearing multiple shots after 6:00 last night.

tracie strahan is one of the testing sites. tracie? >> reporter: darlene, not only is this one of the testing elevated levels of lead were discovered. today, they're going to be testing toddlers. about 2,000 of them. they could be the most at risk. as many as 17,000 newark public school students could be susceptible to this. school officials say there have been elevated levels of lead in the district's drinking water since 2012. we're expecting the results of water quality tests for newark public schools. pretty raucous meeting of concerned parents. they're rallying for new infrastructure in newark public schools. they say school officials need to fix piping and install water filters since that could be the cause of a lot of the lead issues. there's a lot of concern about the effects of lead on young students because it can severely affect their development and take a long time to show up as well, darlene. we want to point out that today's testing is voluntary. but they are expecting a present i big turnout today. >> thanks so much, tr
