tracy anthony is here with a look at the traffic. say what, tracy? say what? >>> as you are sitting in traffic, you are definitely going to want to stay awake. we are starting to see the traffic slow down. lots of brake lights as we look at floyd hill and those drive times, we are seeing the drive times really start to spike. 71 minutes from 6th avenue to u.s. 6. the average speed has down, like you said. if you didn't hit the road before that sun came up, you are going to have to pack the patience. through idaho springs slow going into idaho springs. a couple of slowdowns past the city as well. you know, this is just gonna continue to get worse through the next hour. drive speeds 13 miles per hour out of the metro area. if you are heading to snow pass, aspen, we have that road closure on i-70 from the rockslide. you are going to have to find an alternate route. i-70 not the best bet. lots of people are going to continue to hit the road. a beautiful shot of breckenridge this morning. >>> you can listen to cdot's mountain travel radio. traffic reporters give up

this is traded -- tracy anthony, good morning. >> i got out my orange for the broncos. if you were headed out to the high country, we are seeing waves coming out of the city, but with breaks in the traffic, everybody is getting out in a good amount of time. the drive times are around 40- 50. good minute -- good news for you if you are headed westbound on i-70. the slowdowns we have seen have cleared relatively quickly. it looks like everybody is getting through okay. we will see an influx of traffic with everybody coming home from the mountains later today. it may help as people hit the roads earlier. we will expand that traffic through a good majority of the you need to keep in mind that right before the super bowl starts, everybody is going to try to get home before the game.>>> thank you tracy.>>> you can get traffic conditions every seven minutes. just log onto cotrip.org. you can also get tracy's reports on weather and news. down two lanes of santa fe just north of alameda until tomorrow. a car slammed into the building there.>> the car actually started a gas leak.
