on the district's efforts for community schools, they had actually, tracy brown was there and other community school coordinators, and it was a really interesting presentation actually about what we are doing at some of the schools, and particularly, and hillcrest, they were cited as two sides that if you want to see kind of what our efforts are to go visit those two sites and talk to them because they are the first in these efforts, and then we had a presentation, an informational presentation, on response to intervention and positive behavior support, and we got kind of an overview on what some of the strategies lookalike, quick responses, various concepts, or having various issues. we are not very far along at all in implementing this, so we kind of thought was here is what it would look like in a perfect world, and, yes, we are not anywhere near close to doing that yet, and it is not clear given the budget that we were just reminded of when we will be there, but if we are ever in a position to move them forward, i think there is some pretty interesting stuff that can be done, so i know it

brown water project. we would need additional services on one of our largest, the traci water treatment plant. overall scope and schedule of that project have expanded. the last contract amendment, as i mentioned, are for construction management services. the fourth one is the amount of $2.5 million. the contractor had to go on an accelerated schedule. we needed additional services to provide what was required from the sections as a contractor remained in the field. the final contract amendment is in the amount of $8 million. there is also a time extension of four months. this amendment is needed to accommodate the revision of the overall completion date program by extending the program by six months. also, but we are doing there is we are transferring some of the service that was previously provided by parsons in the pre- construction program management program to this contract. i am sure that some of you may recall, that is an early 2009 joint venture. a decision was made to split that cost into two separate contracts to avoid conflict of interest issues. now that most of the program is almo

tracy grant, nbc bay area news. >>> amid all the controversy surrounding bart, state lawmakers passed a bill that would help the agency to prevent protesters from entering the stations. the bill is headed to governor brown's desk and it would give bart and other transit systems the authority to bar passengers who have been cited three or more times over a 60-day period. offenses include fare cheats, vandalism and disrupting train service. postings on twitter this evening show the protesters are planning another demonstration tonight to let you know if there are any disruptions to the even commute. >>> a federal judge in san francisco ordered that video last year's trial and prop a be reloosed to the public. u.s. district judge said today that there was no reason to keep the videos private. motion to unseal the video was found by two same-sex couples who challenged prop eight and city of san francisco. the judge said in today's order that video is now part of the official record of the trial and that there is a common law right of public access to trials. this order will take effect at the end of the month to give those who oppose the unsealing of the video a chance to appeal the ruling. the trial last yea
