. >> and i'm tracy davidson. we have issued an nbc 10 weather alert. than 70 schools are closed or opening late this morning. now let's go to brittney shipp for the latest on our weather. >>> temperatures will be more mild, so that's going to be a treat, but that's changing heading into the overnight hours tonight. we'll see our temperatures drop below freezing. and all the moisture that is moving into the region will changeover to snow. that temperature will stay down tomorrow into the mid-20s. so colder air is on the way, but first we'll deal with the rain changing to snow that will affect the thursday morning commute. up to six inches is possible in some of the locations throughout the area. i'll go over the details in my full forecast but right now on the radar, this is showing you where the rain is with light rain moving into parts of philadelphia. also the northern part of burlington county and then for the pocanos, we're seeing a little bit of freezing rain. we have the moisture here expect on and off rain showers throughout most of the day. and
