we can also see some clear skies over the transamerica tower in san francisco. and currently at 57 in santa rosa and napa, 54 in petaluma. 62 in fairfield. we have a clear shot of san francisco and the bay bridge and the bay, so we have very clear skies tonight. it will stay that way overnight, into tomorrow. we'll see some little clouds develop overnight into tomorrow morning, but then increasing clouds throughout the day and much cooler temperatures with a chance of rain late monday night into tuesday morning. so we have a slow approaching cold front with a specific satellite image. we'll get the tail end of this and that's going to bring us the chance of rain monday night into tuesday. so i'll show you the forecast animation, which shows you how the timing plays out. slight chance of light rain. so nothing too heavy. but monday night, 9:00, we could see some rain as far south as clover dale. this is all very light rain. and then looks like we'll have a better chance in the overnight hours into tuesday morning, around 1:00. so some isolated showers possible in

it's our kpix 5 weather camera looking out towards the transamerica building a few wispy high, thin cirrus clouds and dotting the horizon, otherwise numbers from the 60s through the mid-70s. breezy outside westerlies up to 18 miles per hour. that's coming from the beaches pushing onshore. look upstream. it's an area of low pressure. that's the green that you saw on your screen there. it's an area of low pressure and it is enhancing our onshore flow. that's why it's breezy. but we're still under the influence of high pressure. so we won't get any rain out of this at all. the rain remains well to the northwestern quadrant of the state of california. but it kind of kicks open a door for a couple of storms upstream. wait until you see our seven- day forecast. until then, what you can pretty much expect is increasing cloud cover tonight. this is our futurecast. there you have a hint of precipitation trying to make it toward the far reaches of sonoma county by 11:00 tonight. and then the clouds continue to dive from the north and exit to the south. but it did enhance that marine layer so when we
