the other good news i want to give is the transbay highway facilities opened bids last week on the steel structure. when it went out to bid the first time it was one giant package. we had one bigger that came in significantly over the estimate. bids have come in 59 million dollars lower than previous so [inaudible] still doing its due diligence on this. they expect in july to adopt a revised project budget for phase one. there will be an update on this at the july programs committee. the last two things i'll mention is we're going to bring forward this next month /aos [inaudible] policy action on the /kweupbt street location and /kweupbt jailing connecter roll is responsible to maintain because it's on its [inaudible] needs to be replaced but the community wanted to ensure there is adequate community access as well as preserving the ability for potential station. we had a meeting where we made good progress including improving local circulation, coordinating construction schedules and promoting local job and contracting opportunities. lastly, attached for your reference -- it's the end o

the folsom rams project is a project that is part of the transbay redevelopment program. the purpose of the project is to realign the off ramp at folsom and fremont. as you see in this -- as you see in this drawing, the ramp on the right side crosses the whole block 8, making it hard to develop that block. and, so, the purpose of this project is basically to realign the ramp, having the ramp that now goes to folsom run parallel to the one on fremont. this is not a typical block for mission street because this is near the transbay terminal. but it does show that we're taking into account in these drawings and all of the studies all of the other district plans that are happening, especially in south of market because there are so many. so, this reflects some of the widening of sidewalks that would happen. this is unique in this block. most of mission street, there would be no moving of curb, but because that happens in the transbay plan, we've incorporated that into this. and you can see there is a buffer, a cycle track with a buffer in this plan. this is the section for mission street showing the cycle track and the buffer. and two lanes of traffic in each direction. and this is a rendering -- we'll have quite a few renderings at the public works shops trying to illustrate what these will feel like, what the concepts will feel like and this shows a street life hub which is a really robust, an area where there is room for he a robust street life ~ with tables and shear and some sort of kiosk. and i will let andrew lee tak
