here's our introduction transportation 2050. what is transportation 2050? it is a culmination of years of task forces, community involvement, community planning, visions for transportation here in san francisco. now the technical analysis of how exactly we can get it done. we have looked at some futures. we're going to talk about some actions that this board, the board of supervisors, san franciscans can take to help advance the vision we created for transportation in san francisco. as i said, we analyzed numerous different possible futures. we're going to talk about three of those this afternoon. what those three futures look like. we have done the work. we have had the discussion. now we want to talk about how to make those futures a reality. what we have come to find out is to get to that vision over a 30-year period, we're short about $50 billion. that seems like a big number. we'll talk about that. we'll talk about how we'll approach it. we can take some actions now to start lowering that number and start getting to that vision that we want. how do we

the transportation sales tax is managed by transportation authority. gross receipts tax on commercial property and rent, vehicle licensing which comes up every time i go to this exercise, grocery seat economy tax is the one we did. that was the tnc tax from 2018. we are hopeful at some point in time it will raise about $30 million. thanks to supervisor peskin for leading the way on that and when the economy recovers we hope to see revenues increase. you will see the range of what people thought was possible. the goal $100 million. next slide. we have had this discussion before. it was february 2021 workshop. you asked for a lot of information before we started talking about the approach and timing. one specific piece of feedback we talked to the public. our best way to get the most general sense where san francisco stood on these priorities this vision was through the community survey which we presented to the board on the 15th of june. we have had two meetings on transit service restoration. expanding to 110% and beyond to the future. you saw the stat
