there would not have been trenton, there would not have been princeton, it probably would have been the end of the revolution. so arnold, although he doesn't get it, deserves credit for that. sorry, my thumbs are too big for the device. this is an interesting, very rare print which comes from a museum in connecticut. washington recognized that arnold had natural leadership qualities. these were especially important when you've got an army composed of many men who haven't previously been soldiers. and one of the things arnold had the ability to do was to inspire the militia, so they are not even regular continental soldiers, they are part-time soldiers. the british invaded connecticut, arnold's home state, and arnold was instrumental in rallying the militia who eventually ended up driving them back to their ships. and one of the major confrontations in this series of engagements took place at richfield. and interestingly, this is a british print from 1780, from before arnold's treason, there is arnold. this print is based on accounts in both british and american newspapers. during the fi
