low to mid 70s in the tri-valley, the warmest spots are far inland in the east bay topping out around 8 degrees. upper 60s in seven cisco with a mix of 60s and 70s through the east bay. north of the golden gate, mostly the middle portions of the 70s until until you go further north but even the warm spot are only reaching 80 degrees near st. helena. temperatures will stay below average on wednesday and a a gradual return to close to normal temperatures by saturday and sunday. the warmest day we have in the seven day forecast on monday brings us back to exactly average high temperaturs high temperatures. if we get enh cloud cover, that is a big question mark in the extended forecast. if we get enough clou, cloud cover, we might be able to to shave a couple degrees off the forecast highs for early next week. we will keep you updated on that through the rest rest of this week. after we put up with the 7 to 10 day stretch of hot, hot weather, it is nice to have temperatures below normal for a couple of days. windows open tonight as well. >> >> we can take in the view, look look at that on

also some triple-digit temperatures for the east bay down to the tri-valley. reaching 96 degrees. at the coast, upper 60s today. seeing more fog and cooler temperatures. it doesn't help us out in redwood city, headed for 92 degrees. 60s in san francisco. you can see the range in temperatures here. from 60s near the coast to well over 100 degrees for the interior valleys. as we are not seeing much of a cooldown for the inland areas. before the weekend, temperatures start to come down then we'll be watching this. this is tropical storm kay. it was a category 2 hurricane. now it has weakened over the baja, california peninsula. this will curve out over the ocean, linger there for a couple days. that moisture will be spreading to the north and we'll see widespread heavy rain across southern california as well as the southern sierra. some of those isolated showers, possibly some thunderstorms making it closer to the bay area by sunday. definitely some rain chances in the forecast over the sierra. we'll be watching out as that humidity comes in for the potential of
